Kombatkids has been awarded the
Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts
What is the Safeguarding Code in Martial
Arts?
The Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts
recognises clubs or providers in England who
have demonstrated that they have reached
and maintained good safeguarding standards.
The scheme empowers parents/carers and
educational establishments to make inform
decisions when selecting a club or a provider
for their child/children, young people and
adults in their care.
The Safeguarding Code has been developed
through close consultation between Sport
England, representatives from martial arts
governing bodies and those with years of
expertise in safeguarding. Support was also
provided by the Child Protection in Sport Unit,
the Ann Craft Trust and NWG Network.
Parents or person with parental responsibility
can be assured KOMBATKIDS has all
Safeguarding Policies, Practices & Procedures
in place. These can all be found under
8Safeguarding Policies & Procedures9 on our
website.
All our Instructors hold certification by
recognised training providers. Many of these
are in-house training specific to our sport.
Training providers such as UK Coaching,
NSPCC, Mental Health First Aid England (MHFA)
& St John Ambulance.
Instructors are DBS Enhanced checked
(registered GOV.UK update service)
