WELCOME
Kombatkids was established in 1992
by Steven and Selina Moore specialising in
teaching karate to children from 4yrs to
adults.
Kombatkids is very much a family run
business, with members of the family Jamie
and Lyle involved with teaching and admin.
Kombatkids started off with just one small
club in Walsall and has now expanded to
many areas of the West Midlands,
Staffordshire and Worcestershire. Now
reputed as being one of the countries
leading karate associations.
Kombatkids have a team of professional
qualified instructors who are EKF accredited
coaches, Enhanced DBS checked (registered
GOV.UK update service) and all hold
certification by recognised training providers
such as NSPCC, UK Coaching, Mental Health
First Aid (MHFA) and St John Ambulance.
Kombatkids specialise in teaching karate to
children age four or above. Classes are
exclusively for children. We hold an adults
only class in Walsall.
We will always strive to offer a safe friendly
environment to train in, offering the best
coaching skills to its students. In return the
student will be expected to conduct
themselves in a courteous manner,
respecting the training area, sensei, fellow
students and parents at all times.

"We have worked hard studying, mentoring and teaching children, young and
older adults with all different strengths and abilities. Our focus, throughout
all of the clubs, has always been to preserve the style of Wado, teaching all
the traditional elements of karate. However, we realise there are other
sporting requirements needed within karate for those aiming for success at
competition and we have proved this with the outstanding accumulation of
results in both kumite and kata at National and International level.

solely on it's reputation. This is due to the fact, we are always looking to
improve and continuously strive to offer the best we can for our students, we
have a fabulous team of enthusiastic and conscientious team of instructors,
we hold a weekly Instructor meeting where up-to-date coaching methods are
instructed, any issues or improvements may be suggested ensuring
parents/carers can be assured their children are receiving quality tuition in a
